On the last Saturday before the crazy started we took a little Colorado adventure to Bishop's Castle. This is a castle that has literally been made from scratch by one man, and one man alone. It's pretty amazing, and also scary that we're teetering on these high bridges and trusting in the construction skills of this guy!
Alex wasn't comfortable going to the top of the ball so Dan stayed down with him. It kind of worked out because then Dan could take our pictures :)
And I snapped their picture with my phone! (I was scared I was going to drop it!)
Then it was our turn to go out on that bridge. Um, it was so wobbly and super high up. Scary!
How about crossing some rickety stairs to a stone pillar?

We had a rare opportunity to meet Mr. Bishop, the creator of this crazy castle! Sadly he has been diagnosed with cancer and may not be with us much longer, meaning his creation may be at its finished point.
So if you're living here or even visiting here, this is a must see one of a kind experience! If you're afraid of heights you might just enjoy the experience from the lower levels. Fun day!
