It doesn't matter that it's almost June and I'm posting this, right? The end of the school year was just a race to the finish, busy busy busy! We're all out of school and ready for a different pace for summer :)
Anyways, here's the happenings from Cade turning 10!
Here's a glimpse of 10 years of Cade's life :)
He really is starting to look more grown up, isn't he?
His actual birthday was on a Thursday which turned out to be a really busy day for the family. Cade had track practice after school and I had a concert that night, so we got up before Dan left for PT (that's even earlier than we usually get up!) and did presents and cinnamon rolls. We must love this kiddo! Cade got a new bike, tickets to Monster Jam, a doctor who coloring book, ender dragon toy, and a shirt with godzilla and smaug fighting!
A few days later he had a birthday party with his friends. They went Glow-golfing and then came back to our house for some cake, presents and play time. He really wanted a cookie cake this year, and we asked if they could put a city skyline on it. Cade made the godzilla and smaug figures to put on the cake to look like they were fighting in a busy city. Easy for me and super yummy!

It's nice that the kids are getting older, because normally a birthday party at the mall with a bunch of boys would've freaked me out. The behaved just fine and had a good time together.
Happy 10th birthday Cade! You're really growing and turning in to a fun kid to hang out with. Can't wait to see what this year brings us!
